Tammy Johnson State Farm Insurance Agency specializes in a wide array of insurance programs for both commercial business and personal individual coverages for home and condo owners, rental property owners, renters, auto, motorcycles, boats, RVs, life insurance, disability insurance, personal umbrella, vacation homes, classic cars, collectibles, antiques, unique risk and more. Tammy is dedicated to delivering exceptional customized, compassionate customer service. Tammy Johnson is a multifaceted professional with a strong business acumen, an entrepreneurial spirit, and a passion for results. With over 20 years of experience in management, sales and entrepreneurship, Tammy is well-prepared to leverage her skills and strengths to accelerate the immediate and long-term goals of her partnership with State Farm through her Insurance Agency. Tammy was born and raised in Detroit Michigan and currently resides in Macomb County. Tammy holds a Bachelor of Science in Psychology and Social Work from Eastern Michigan University. She furthered her education with a Master of Science in Business Management from Walsh University. Tammy is a licensed Real Estate Broker and notary, and holds a property and casualty license and a Life health license in Michigan and Ohio. Outside of her professional pursuits, Tammy is actively involved in various affiliations and professional organizations that contribute to his continuous learning and growth. Tammy is a married mother of four children and her professional journey includes serving 7 years as a social worker for the State of Michigan. In this role, she identified individuals in need and provided support and resources to improve their well-being after this Tammy served as the Director of the Real Estate Department at the Detroit Public Schools Community District for over 12 years. In addition to her experience in the public sector, Tammy spent 8 years as the Owner/Operator of KD Property Management and 24-hour Broker Price Opinion Real Estate Brokerage Firm, a successful brokerage specializing in asset management for banks. During this time, she achieved remarkable growth of over 52% in commercial and residential real estate within the first year. Tammy’s dedication to community service is evident through her role as Owner/Operator of Tammy Johnson State Farm Agency located in Macomb County for the last 6 years, where she also serves on the State Farm Political Action Committee. Tammy currently employs and coaches a staff of five and has built her business over the last 6 yrs. to over 1,500 customers
