With over fifteen years of experience in financial management, development, lending, and Credit Union support, Ashley Chambers is passionate about more than just numbers. She understands that what truly sets a financial institution apart is its genuine care and concern for its members.
Currently serving as the Vice President of Business Development at Chief Financial Credit Union, Ashley is dedicated to empowering individuals with financial education, stability, and independence. Her fulfillment comes from helping people achieve their financial goals by providing them with knowledge, tools, and connections to enhance their banking experience.
Beyond her role at Chief Financial, Ashley is deeply involved in the community. She serves on the Board of Directors for the Rochester Community Schools Foundation, chairs the Inforum Troy chapter, actively participates in the Rochester Downtown Development Authority (DDA) committee, and recently joined the Board of On the Wings of Angels. Her community involvement extends to volunteer work with organizations like HAVEN Oakland County, support for the LGBTQIA+ community, and hosting financial literacy courses for local youth.
Ashley also conducts mentorship programs through Oakland University, where she earned her bachelor's degree. She is a graduate of the Greater Rochester Leadership Class of 2018, was recognized as the 2019 Rochester Chamber Young Professional of the Year and is a graduate of the Auburn Hills Chamber iLead Class of 2019 and Leadership Oakland Class of 2022. In 2021, she received the Troyn Chamber Young Professional of the Year award and was honored as a 2023 Auburn Hills Chamber Tomorrows Twenty honoree, as well as an Oakland University Outstanding Alumni Volunteer. At the conclusion of 2023, Corp! Magazine recognized Ashley as the Most Valuable Young Professional of the Year.
Ashley's commitment to making a difference also extends to her family, where she serves as a vibrant and constructive role model, inspiring her niece and nephew to reach for their highest aspirations. She is known for her ability to effectively communicate with people from all walks of life, helping them excel in their careers, families, and finances. Whether leading internal meetings at the Credit Union or collaborating with community partners, Ashley believes in giving back to the local community and making money work as hard for individuals as they do for it.
